My father told me at a very young age,

"Sah, there are no new stories. It's how you tell the stories they already know. You've got to move them."

this story I am telling with my art is a study of light, movement and the mercurial elements of feelings.  Painting a cloud is not rocket science, it's not new.  The chemistry of nature is a moving and emotional science.... Immensely moving.....Immensely intimate......

The escape, the flight, the travel, the hope, the mystery, the sheer intangible mass of these clouds.

The profound weight and girth of a sky is a language that i attempt to capture.  different voices with different dialects.

There is unrelenting poignancy in a cloud that feels familiar, and very human.

Like someone you love finally taking flight in their life -

or paradoxically like one spiraling out of control.

We sit back and watch the clouds form, take shapes, gather, or even dissipate to nothing but empty space -

a communion happens and all that mass is shifting and struggling for form inside of us as well, speaking someone's truth.

There is great contemplation for us in the skies.

it is never the same twice. voyage is beckoning... Go."
